What's On.

A Day in the Life of a St. George’s, Harrow Elf!

Hello Christmas fans! I’m Pip – one of St. George’s, Harrow’s, newly graduated elves – and let me tell you, it’s non-stop festive fun around here. From checking Santa’s list (twice!) to helping with all the magical activities in the centre, there’s never a dull moment.

Morning: Elf Academy & Essential Prep

My alarm goes off bright and early! I need to get my festive hat on and make sure my rosy cheeks are perfectly painted, ready for the little trainee elves we’ll have at the Elf Academy! We hold these fun 30-minute sessions every Saturday in the run up to Christmas (6th,13th and 20th).

We will be helping the children to decorate cookies, make Christmas decorations and even some food for our reindeer friends!

Sound like fun? Check out our Elf Academy here.

Midday: Top Picks from Our Retailers

We know our stuff, so let’s take a look at some Christmas inspiration in our shops! As an elf, it’s my job to make sure everyone’s top picks are ready for their loved ones this year.

Take my friend Tinsel, for example, you might see her hiding in a shop window from 6th December. She told me she spotted a fantastic electronic gadget that would be the perfect present for a food & drink-loving grandad in TK Maxx.

Me? I’ve got my eye on a cosy knitted jumper from H&M, a great idea for a mum! I also heard that all the must-have beauty gifts can be found in Boots, perfect for my makeup-obsessed sister. You can also find Lego, Barbie and Paw Patrol gifts in B&M, which are all on my little cousin’s Christmas lists. So make sure you check out our retailers for amazing gifts to make your Christmas perfect.

By the way, if you see Tinsel or any of our other naughty, freshly-graduated elves on the Elf Trail, pick up a trail sheet from Vue, jot down where you see them, and you could win an elf-tastic prize!

Evening: Dinner and a Movie

Phew! After a busy day of training and shopping, I need to refuel. No pear drops for this elf! It’s time to head down to one of our amazing food retailers for dinner. Maybe a cheeky Nandos, or perhaps some doughballs from Pizza Express, the options are endless, and the food is delicious. Tinsel loves a Burrito from Tortilla, so I might give that a try.

After dinner, it’s straight over to Vue Cinema to catch the latest blockbuster.

I promised Tinsel I would see Wicked for Good with her. It’s the perfect way to wind down after a long day of making magic happen and keep me energised until Christmas Eve! I think I’ll treat myself to a huge bucket of popcorn and some M&Ms.
