Summer Suitcase terms and conditions

Terms and Conditions

  1. This competition is being run by St. George’s shopping centre, Harrow.
  2. The prize is to win a suitcase full of summer items from St. George’s in Harrow.
  3. During the summer holidays (24th July – 3rd September 2017) a globe will be set up in the centre covered in a vinyl depicting a suitcase filled with summer items. Shoppers are encouraged to come to the centre to take a guess at the value of the items that are shown in the suitcase. They can fill in a short competition entry form on an iPad situated next to the globe. There is also a chance for shoppers to guess online.  The photo of the globe with the vinyl on will be posted on the website.  From the homepage shoppers will then be directed to an entry form www.stgeorgesshopping.co.uk to enter their guess and contact details. All entries will be collected at the end of the competition and be checked for the correct/closest entry.  All data captured will be added to the database. The correct/closest answer will win the suitcase and it’s items and they will be presented with their prize in front of the globe for a winner’s photo.  In the event of a tie, one entry will be picked at random.
  4. The prize will be up to the value of £400.
  5. Entry will either be by entry form on the iPad in St. George’s shopping centre or on the St. George’s shopping centre website.
  6. The competition runs from Monday 24th July at 9am with entries accepted until Sunday 3rd September at 5pm. A winner will be selected on Monday 4th September 2017.
  7. Entries received after the closing date will not be counted.
  8. The winner will be contacted after the competition ends using the email address and/or the phone number provided on entry.
  9. If we fail to be able to make contact with the winner within 7 days another winner will be selected.
  10. By entering into the competition the winner agrees to participate in all associated PR and marketing activities.
  11. The winner’s name will be published on social media.
  12. Employees of the shopping centre, their immediate families, press, agencies, sponsors and commercial partners or any person directly or indirectly connected to the competition are not eligible to enter the competition.
  13. The information provided by the entrants will be used by St. George’s shopping centre, unless the entrant has selected otherwise, to notify them of further events and offers. Information will not be passed onto third parties.
  14. No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this promotion or these terms and conditions. In the unlikely event of a dispute, the judge’s decision shall be final. St. George’s shopping centre reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this promotion at any time without notice.
